This began as a song written for February Album Writing Month. The original kernal came from a poem I wrote in college (also called Love And..., but much shorter and blank verse. I used the basic idea and used it to write a song as opposed to a short poem.

This song was made possible by my Patreon patrons, especially Robin Abess, Jon Haight, John Woolard, Shouts Out Unicorn, Jeremy Jackson and Jennifer Lewis, and James Doster. I will always be grateful to them.

Shivers inside my brain, can’t think straight,

The thought of you plays

On my innards like a squeezebox
My pulse begins to race
